2. How we use data

To provide the Service, authenticate you, secure your account (rate-limiting and lockout after repeated failed logins), process payments, and — only if you opt in — send product news.

3. Processing of uploaded content

Uploaded files and links are processed to deliver the requested result and are retained only as long as needed to provide the output and then removed on a rolling basis. We do not sell your content.

4. Legal bases

We process data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in securing the Service, and — for news emails — on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time in your account.

5. Sharing

We share data only with processors that help us run the Service (e.g. payment and email providers) under appropriate agreements, and where required by law.

7. Security

Passwords are stored hashed. We use access controls and account-lockout protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep as little as possible:

• Automatic deletion: Share links and processing metadata are automatically purged within 30 days, unless retained for an active security investigation.
• Source-platform links: Download URLs generated by the source platforms themselves carry their own validity period (typically about 7 days); once expired the link stops working and you must start a new processing request.
• Expedited deletion: To request immediate deletion, email [email protected] with the share link and the reason for deletion.

This Refund Policy explains how Removewatermarks.net ("we") handles refunds for paid plans purchased at www.removewatermarks.net. It complements our Terms & Conditions.

1. Overview

Paid plans (monthly and yearly) and one-time credit packs are billed in advance. Because the Service delivers digital processing immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once processing has been used.

2. Free tier

The free tier requires no payment and no card, so there is nothing to refund.

3. Subscriptions (recurring)

Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current period.

4. When we issue refunds

We may refund a charge if: (a) you were charged in error (duplicate or unauthorized charge); (b) the Service was unavailable or materially broken for the purchased period; or (c) required by applicable law (e.g. a statutory withdrawal right where digital delivery had not yet begun). 5. How to request

Email [email protected] with your account email and the charge date. We review requests within a few business days and, if approved, refund to the original payment method. Your bank may take additional days to process.
